Questions about our retro placemats, table runners, coasters and tablecloth

What comes in the table runner and placemats set?

Each set has 1 table runner and 8 placemats in the same design, 9 pieces in total:

  • Table runner: 70" × 13" / 178 × 33 cm
  • Placemats (8 pieces): 18" × 13" / 46 × 33 cm

The set is made of polyester and printed on one side only, so it is not reversible. Just clean it with water. Shipping is free.

Are the placemats reversible?

Yes. Our double-sided placemats have a different design printed on each side, so you can flip them to change the look of your table. Table runners are printed on one side only.

Do the placemats protect my table from heat?

Yes. Our placemats are made of double layer imitation linen (polyester) with reinforced stitching. The insulation protects your table from heat up to 140°F / 60°C.

How do I clean the placemats?

Wipe them clean with a damp cloth or mild soapy water.

Are the table runners washable?

Yes. Our table runners are machine washable. For the faux linen designs we recommend a gentle hand wash. Do not soak longer than 30 minutes and air-dry in a ventilated spot.

What size are the ceramic coasters, and how many come in a set?

Our ceramic coasters come as a set of 4 or 6. The size depends on the shape:

  • Round coasters: 4" diameter × 0.3" / 10 × 0.7 cm
  • Square coasters: 3.7" × 3.7" × 0.3" / 9.4 × 9.4 × 0.7 cm
Are the ceramic coasters heat resistant, and how do I clean them?

Yes. They are made of ceramic with a natural cork backing, which is heat-resistant and reduces slipping. They protect your table from heat, moisture and scratches. Wipe them clean with a damp cloth.

What size is the round tablecloth, and how do I wash it?

The round tablecloth has a diameter of:

  • 70" / 178 cm

It is made of polyester. Hand or machine wash up to 113°F / 45°C, do not bleach and do not soak for long.

Is shipping free, and will I pay import taxes?

Our double-sided placemats, table runners, ceramic coasters and round tablecloth ship free. Import taxes, customs duties and extra fees are already covered by us. Production and processing take 4-9 business days for placemats, 3-10 days for table runners, depending on the design, and 3-4 business days for coasters and the tablecloth. Free standard shipping for coasters and the tablecloth takes 10-15 business days.

Is there a discount if I buy more than one piece?

Yes. Our automatic discount gives you 10% off when you buy 2 pieces and 20% off from 4 pieces. It is applied in your cart, no code needed.

Can I get a pattern I don't see here?

Yes, in most cases. With few exceptions, every pattern from our Retro products can go on any other Retro product. Send us a message with the pattern you like and we will check it for you.

Are these original vintage pieces?

No. They are newly made in retro style, inspired by 1950s, 60s and 70s midcentury designs.
