Are these original midcentury trash cans?
No. They are newly made in vintage style and printed to order. The designs are inspired by the 1950s, '60s and '70s. But you'll also find Toile de Jouy and other floral patterns, various wood-grain looks, and plain-color trash cans in on-trend colors.
How big is the trash can, and how much does it hold?
It is a compact, square trash can:

Does the trash can have a lid?
Yes. The press-top lid opens and closes with one touch. The closed design helps contain odors and keeps waste less accessible to kids and pets.

The body is sturdy plastic with wood-look legs, and it wipes clean easily.
Is this a kitchen trash can or a bathroom trash can?
Both. At 10 L / 2.6 gallons it is small enough for the bathroom vanity or under a desk, and it looks just as good beside the kitchen counter. It also suits a bedroom, kids' room, office or dorm.
How long does delivery take, and do I pay customs?
Production and processing take 1–3 days. Shipping costs depend on your country. You see the available shipping options and prices right on the product page, below the price, and can choose the one that suits you there.
Standard shipping usually takes 10–15 business days, and express shipping (4–7 business days) is available to most countries. To the USA there is also a cheaper Economy option by sea (15–25 business days). No import taxes, customs duties or extra fees – everything is already covered by us.
Can I get a pattern I don't see here?
Yes, in most cases. With few exceptions, every pattern from our Retro products can go on any other Retro product. Tell us which one you have in mind via our contact page, and we'll check.
Is there a discount if I buy more than one piece?
Yes. Our automatic discount applies across the whole shop, so you can mix pieces from any collection: 10% off when you buy 2 pieces and 20% off when you buy 4 or more. It is applied automatically in your cart, no code needed.
