This eye-catching red FAT LAVA UFO VASE was designed by Heinz Siery for the Westgerman pottery manufacturer Carstens Tönnieshof.
With shining red glaze at the top and black fat lava at the bottom, this interesting shaped vase is a typical ceramic art collectible of the space era in the 1960s.
The vase has some production related glaze flaws and a tiny professionally repaired chip at the top (0.012" / 0.03cm). Besides, it's in good vintage condition.
