Are these genuine originals, and is each piece one-of-a-kind?
Genuine originals, every one. We don't sell reproductions. Pieces like these are usually single finds, and once one is sold it is gone for good. They are decades old, so a well-kept original is worth grabbing when you spot it.
What condition are they in?
Every listing states the exact condition, from good to perfect, and shows it in real photos, never stock shots. Normal traces of age are part of the charm. Some pieces are refurbished by us, and the listing says so.
Do the bar carts fold, and what are they made of?
Many of our carts, such as the Bremshey 'Dinett' from Solingen, fold flat as a whole: a spring mechanism holds the folded cart together, so it is easy to store and to roll away on its wheels. The frame is chromed steel, and the trays are made of thin layers of wood pressed with synthetic resin, mostly in brown faux-wood. Much rarer ones come in bright colors like egg-yolk yellow, cherry red, orange or green. Our golden tea carts have smoked-glass tiers. What can I use a vintage bar cart for?
Use one as a drinks cart in the living room, as a tea cart for serving coffee and cake, or as a rolling side table you can move wherever you need it. The wheels make it easy to take a cart from the living room to the dining room.
How does shipping work?
Every piece ships from us in Germany, packed with great care and know-how. The shipping cost depends on your country, the weight of the piece and its packed size. You can see the available shipping rates directly below the price on each product page, and again at checkout. If you order several pieces, the combined shipping cost is calculated automatically. Taxes and duties may apply.
Is there a discount if I buy more than one piece?
Yes. Our automatic discount applies across the whole shop, so you can mix pieces from any collection: 10% off when you buy 2 pieces and 20% off when you buy 4 or more. It is applied automatically in your cart, no code needed.
Do the colors in the photos match the real piece?
The photos show the real piece, but screens differ, so slight color differences are possible. Formica, faux-wood and metal also age individually, which is why no two pieces look exactly alike. Not sure about a color? Just drop us a line before you order.
