Fresh collector's drop!
New drop of vintage ceramic pots, vases and clocks
Dear Vintaramians,
our ceramic collection is almost overflowing with wonderful midcentury gems. That's why we've launched a new category: ceramic planter pots. It's certainly a bit more clearly arranged now if you want to go hunting for something specific. There are stunning new additions to the ceramics collection as well as to the planter pots and wall clocks. Be sure to take a look straight away!
But there is one special treasure that I would like to warmly recommend to you. It is the "S 21" vase by the Swedish artist Einar Lynge-Ahlberg.
Einar Herman Fritiof Lynge-Ahlberg, born in Malmö in 1913, was primarily an artist and belonged to the "Blandningen" group of painters founded in 1938. His paintings often depicted motifs from Stockholm, but he also painted abstract pictures, still lifes and interiors. His first solo exhibition took place in Malmö in 1945.
In 1954 Lynge-Ahlberg was employed as a designer at famous Rörstrand's porcelain factory, where he worked for three years. He created unique and architectural objects in stoneware, such as tubular or three-sided vases decorated with geometric ornaments. The unique ceramic objects from this period at Rörstrand were signed "Lynge-Ahlberg". Find his "S 21" here!
Enjoy the weekend with hopefully better weather than we we are having here at the moment!
