Einar Herman Fritiof Lynge-Ahlberg, born in Malmö in 1913, was primarily an artist and belonged to the "Blandningen" group of painters founded in 1938. His paintings often depicted motifs from Stockholm, but he also painted abstract pictures, still lifes and interiors. His first solo exhibition took place in Malmö in 1945.
In 1954 Lynge-Ahlberg was employed as a designer at famous Rörstrand's porcelain factory, where he worked for three years. He created unique and architectural objects in stoneware, such as tubular or three-sided vases decorated with geometric ornaments. The unique ceramic objects from this period at Rörstrand were signed "Lynge-Ahlberg".
